Douglas Street is the gift that keeps on giving. Since 2016 it has been our place of work and play and has cultivated our bizarre little family, bound together through shared experiences of wacky and wild music, art, and culture.

We hope to foster the growth of our local music community from our beloved Inner-west home and beyond.

We are Arthur, Angelo, Charlotte, Sean, Talia, and TJ aka DJ MMMM, Rubric, None Troubles, Teen Truckie, Tangela & Ouroboros.

When COVID hit, we thought — let’s try and keep the party going. The house was blessed with TJ’s arsenal of speakers and decks, and we took to the interwebs to keep a sense of community alive on Friday nights. Fast-forward a year, and with Talia and TJ at the helm, Douglas Street has metamorphosed from a dank little lock-down larvae into a blissed-out butterfly.

IRL, we do events, perennially host kick-ons, obsess ourselves with hobbies (which you’re welcome to join!) and live out that sitcom-styled family life.
